What to Expect
Your first visit is all about you – your comfort, your happiness, and your health. During your first visit, the hygienist will review your dental and medical history forms and discuss any concerns that you may have. She will also take necessary radiographs of your teeth and perform a screening for gum disease. After gathering the information needed, we will determine what type of cleaning is best for you. The doctor will also perform a routine exam, including an oral cancer screening, and discuss your dental wants and needs. Your first appointment should last an hour and half to two hours.
